Just a little over a month since Slime Language featuring Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna and Lil Baby, Young Thug has treated us to a surprise EP release with some more stellar features.

Thug gets in touch with his pop side for On The Rvn; the 6 track EP brings a more mellow, relaxed vibe by tapping into the crossover between modern rap and rnb.

According to Thug’s Twitter handle, he intended to release the project on September 11, 2018. Although just the day before the drop date, he received an arrest warrant for eight felony charges including intent to distribute marijuana, meth and hydrocodone. So, like, he obviously had more important things to tend to.

Nonetheless, we’re glad On The Rvn actually ended up surfacing, because it slaps.

Features include everyone’s favourite sad boi, 6lack, art hoe Jaden Smith and the generation transcending Elton John.

Safe to say our Monday-itis is cured.
