Controversy seems to follow XXXTentacion wherever he wanders -after pretty much breaking the internet with his ~interesting~ XXL cypher effort and orchestrating a few over the top Instagram story content ideas, it’s fair to say the enigma wrapped in a mystery that is the 19 year old rapper has transcended the realms of Internet fame to full blown industry hype.

Over the weekend, his free, all ages show in Tampa was shut down after the fire department deemed it a ‘safety hazard’ with a crowd that approached 1,000 that gathering outside the 725-capacity venue. Police eventually intervened with the situation eventuating riot-like circumstances – check out fan footage of the scene below.

Fans took to the streets and chanted “We want X!” after the show was shut down – unfortunately crowd control was taken to dangerous levels as police reportedly tear-gassed fans who’d gathered.
