KICK: adidas Yung-1 in “Hi-res orange” and “Collegiate Navy/Red”
RELEASE: June 20, 2018
PRICE: $155.00 AUD
BUY: END. Clothing and SSENSE.
From Nike to Balenciaga and YEEZY, the chunky Dad shoe is clearly back, paying homage to the freshest and most popular creps across shelves in the 90s.
Although they’re no New Balance 622 – the ones that Uncle Jimmy donned every family barbeque – adidas has released the Yung-1’s, applying its contemporary spin on the oversaturated ‘dad sneaker’ motif in a refresh of their 1997 Falcon Dorf silhouette.
The ‘Falcon Dorf turned Yung-1’ models will be available in 2 colourways: a collegiate classic red, navy and cream to fulfil all our nostalgic running shoe dreams, and a hi-res orange, navy and yellow statement pair.
Sitting pretty at $155AUD, a price significantly less than its Dad-style counterparts (Triple S who?), it’ll be scramble to pick up these creps if you don’t get in quick.
Limited sizes in both colourways are left at either END. Clothing or SSENSE.
