If you are slightly familiar with Sydney, then you would be familiar with the Sydney legend and well-known happy man, Danny Lim. IDK about you, but seeing Danny can sometimes be the highlight of my day when he is happily dancing in Redfern on my morning commute.

Danny Lim has now had his lucky break being snatched up by a music video director for a pimped out Hip Hop video shot in a $10 million dollar mansion. The 73-year-old will be appearing as a Mr. Miyagi-type character for Sydney’s Gee Boyz. The best part? The music director didn’t even know his legendary-status with the community.

“I was running around train stations, looking for a Chinese elderly gentlemen,” said Prema Smith to Pedestrian TV.

“I thought we’d have to cancel the shoot. Then I saw him [Danny Lim] at Newtown station and just ran up and introduced myself”
