Hysteria surrounding “The Ten” does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. It was the sneaker drop and dream collab of choice for 2017 and, at the rate re-sells and giveaway raffles are looking, 2018 could be yet another year of total Virgil x Nike dominance.
Initial images of the Abloh’s next modern re-working have surfaced online, with the Nike Air VaporMax finding a new found life with signature Off-White touches. The kicks are constructed with a Flyknit upper, translucent Swoosh branding and, “AIR” is emblazoned on the heel to ensure optimal Off-White recognition. Although details are scarce at the moment, the kicks should retail at $250 USD, with this leak coming shortly after rumours spread that Nike and Off-White would drop 6 new collabs in 2018.
