Ripped jeans have remained a fashion staple for years now, featuring in the wardrobes of denim faithfuls globally, and pissing off your Aunty at family gatherings for appearing just bloody uncouth and inappropriate.
Now, the ultra ~distressed~ look has been taken to an entirely different universe, galaxy and life form by Japanese designer Thibaut, introducing the highly functional and aesthetic ‘thong jean’.
Unleashing unto the world at Amazon Fashion Week in Tokyo, the front and back panels of the ‘jeans’ are completely cut out – the barely there look must be back for summer, or something.’
The sane humans of the world have taken to Twitter to ponder the state of fashion in 2017.
