In case you’re shit at deciding, we rounded up the best Aussie Comedians to catch at the annual Sydney Comedy Fest. Take your friend with that crazy laugh for double the chuckles.

Akmal Saleh

Our fav Australian-Egyptian, Akmal has delivered the goods year after year at Sydney Comedy Festival. You’d expect nothing less, after 52 years of wise cracks. Not recommended for people under the age of 18 or over the age of 18, or people with lawyers. NO REFUNDS.

Alan Tsibulya

Man of many faces, some would use ‘juicy’ Alan’s skits. You’ve surely flicked by his cringingly accurate videos on your FB feed, from Rich Kids of Sydney to Shit Customers Say. The 20 year old Sydney sider has amassed a huge following and no doubt his fans can expect wigs and props galore at his debut stand up shop. Snap em up quick smart.

Matt Okine

He’s made you laugh over your Vegemite on toast with Alex Dyson on JJJ radio and there’s no doubt he’ll bring the fire in his 2017 Sydney Comedy Festival show. Okine is known to get personal, especially with ‘The Other Guy’ skit. It’ll be the whole package: sage life advice and uncontrollable laffs in whilst hitting you in the feels.

Neel Kolhatkar

If there’s one thing to know about Neel, he despises political correctness but also despise the kind of people that say they hate political correctness. #ObjectifyNeel is going to push your socio-cultural buttons and isn’t for the faint of heart. May contain nuts. Sign yourself up here.

Rove McManus

We’ve been missing his high-octane Sunday night slot on Channel 10 since it concluded in 2009.

Ironically, you can catch him actually live, performing his show ‘That’s Me Talking’. In the words of Rae Sremmurd, it’ll be a crowd pleaser. No further persuasion needed – tickets.

Becky Lucas

Becky is a ‘Little Bitch’ who isn’t afraid to cuss. She’s co written for Matt Okine’s new show on Stan and Buzzfeed named her one of Australia’s funniest comedians on Twitter. If you need some sort of evidence, heres a pearler or two:
