Arriving a full 4 years after their last Air Jordan collab, Supreme has moved on from the Jordan 5 silhouette to the Jordan 14; taking it back to 1998 in the sleekest way possible.
Christened by the sporting of Michael Jordan for Game 6 of the 1998 NBA finals, the Air Jordan 14 model was inspired by Jordan’s love of luxury cars, specifically his Ferrari 550 Maranello.
Although Supreme can’t promise any buzzer-beating winning shots whilst wearing these re-models, they’re offering up 2 contrasting colourways for whichever end of the saturation spectrum you’re on.
Available in White/Red or Black/Blue, both editions are topped with a leather and nubuck mixed upper, sprayed in metal studs and speckled with touches of iconic Supreme red. Jumpman branding is tagged on the toebox, mesh tongue, inner sole, and the rubber heel panel alongside the infamous Supreme bogo.
The bold contrasting soles are what takes these 14’s back to their roots, adding pops of blue and red to the outer’s, reminiscent of most 14 creations.
The Supreme x Air Jordan 14’s will be available on June 13 (U.S. time) in the New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, London and Paris Supreme stores, as well as on their online store. The kicks will land in Japan at a later date of June 15.
Match the kicks to the fit with Supreme’s retro Nike apparel line, available now.
