Addiction.com has reportedly found that the lyrics in country music reference drugs the most, while rap had the least.

Yeah, we don’t believe it either considering Snoop Dog has definitely smoked more blunts then T-Swizzle. The study analysed the lyrics of over 1.41 million songs to see how many ‘slang’ words for drugs would be picked up.

Apart from the fact we couldn’t picture Keith Urban racking lines of cocaine off a strippers ass, the study seems inherently flawed. Even though rap was the lowest on the drug reference list for genres, on the most ‘druggiest artist’ category rappers seems to take the cake (or should we say hash brownies?).

The study also alludes that Method Man, name dropped “meth” more than any other artist. Method Man nickname was “Meth”, so no matter how hardcore he is we just can’t believe he was actually alluding to meth.

The only thing we believe from this study was weed was picked up as the most talked about drug, so keep on puffing and passing.
