Here in Australia, it seems like our thriving street art scene may be receiving an unfair amount of backlash (a mural painter was shut down by police this week for completing a piece they were given permission to do…), luckily the harsh hands of the law are yet to reach this New York street artist.

Tom Bob, turning the gentrifying streets of New York into a haven for his quirky work to flourish, using street ‘furniture’ like poles and electrical terminals as a canvas for his vivid and bright ideas to come to life. Where most people see a dull street lamp or a post box, Tom Bob sees an opportunity to change the way the other’s perceive the city with his art installations totally transforming the at times grimy streets of the city.
