Berlin’s transport authority have teamed up with adidas to create a shoe that doubles as a transit pass.
Ja, das sind Sneaker im BVG-Design. Ja, die gelten als Jahresticket. Nein, nicht mal die dürft ihr auf den Sitz gegenüber legen.

The shoe was produced for a limited-edition run of 500, and retailed for $220.00 (not bad considering an annual pass on Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe costs around $890.00).
Hundreds camped out in the snow for the release.
The shoes feature the same pattern found on the subway’s seats, a blend of red, blue, and black camo, with a ticket also featured on the shoe’s tongue.
Time to get some DIY jobs going with the Opal and Mykie cards.
Found a solution to the limited numbers of @BVG_Kampagne ticket sneakers. (Don’t @ me about the state of these boots) pic.twitter.com/lUhQsGFgbp
