When Qantas talks, Australia listens. We’re not sure Qantas will listen to Aussies though, as the general consensus for the name of their new Dreamliner fleet, is ‘Planey McPlane Face‘.

They wanted our help? They got it.

If Twitter’s crystal ball prediction is right, Qantas may too (see NERC’s Boaty McBoat Face) toe the hard line between their credibility and the burden of public consensus.  It may not be the ‘famous invention or notable person’ they were looking to name the fleet after, but it sure does sum up what ‘Straya means to us.

We’ll nominate ‘Bangas & Mash’ for a close second…

Maybe they should just hijack the whole thing themselves.
