Over the weekend, the highly anticipated SoleFy x Air Jordan 1‘s were due to release in honour of the Miami Art Basel at a secret location in the city.

As we’ve all learnt to know, it’s hard to keep secrets on the internet. A drop attendee accidentally revealed the location pre-launch to a follower on Twitter, and consequently, nightclub E11EVEN ended up in shambles.
Obviously, the crowd grew as uncontrollable as it did disorderly. According to TV reporter Nester Mato, the crowd became so violent that an officer was injured, resulting in even more officers to jump into the scene in riot gear.
Therefore, the launch was shut down early and everyone – majority resellers – had to go home.
At the present moment, SoleFly has publically addressed the launch and are planning to reschedule for a later date at hopefully a top-secret location (that will stay secret).
Thank you guys for the love!
Please be patient as we organize everything to make sure this release goes as smooth as possible.
We love the energy, but it’s always safety first!

We can’t thank everyone enough for the support!
Due to safety concerns the police have deemed it unsafe to release at one of our planned locations.
We are diligently working on alternate plans to make this release possible.

As safety is our number one priority, we’ve had to cancel our release today. We will reschedule our launch for a future date, thank you.
