Skateboarding has become a prominent community in today’s culture. Skateparks are no longer a ‘taboo’ feature in a suburb and it has even been included in the 2020 Japan Olympics.

Taking a hold of this tight knit community, Decks for Change have created an annual competition and art exhibition aiming to create change in the world. They’re doing epic shit for epic causes, hold these skate art competitions, exhibitions & auctions to raise money for skate parks in developing countries.

“We believe skateboarding changes lives, and graphic design changes minds.”

Entries to the 2017 Decks for Change Art Competition have now opened with your chance to display and auction your own design in the exhibition.

All funds raised will help fund a community skate park in Pokhara, Nepal. The skate park is set to be only the second in the country where it will create a way for people of all ages, sexes and backgrounds to connect in a city that has seen so much devastation.

Entries close March 31st, so get in quick.
