Chicago’s biggest advocate, Chance, The Rapper, after serving as grand marshal of the city’s annual Bud Billiken Parade, put on a free show in the windy city last night. Fans were treated to guest spots from Future, Jeremih and, none other than the much loved and missed Obama.

Obama took to the stage to applaud Chance for his philanthropic efforts – Chance recently spent the day distributing 30,000 backpacks filled with school supplies with his non-profit organisation SocialWorks.

“Chance, I am grateful for everything you’ve done on behalf of our young people back home […] and I’m hopeful that everyone who is at the concert today, everyone who is getting involved, everybody who has been part of the parade, all of you are in the mindset that you can do anything that you want to do, as long as you put your mind to it.”
