Boogie, Serbian photographer, doesn’t shy away from capturing the dark side of the world.
Documenting the unruly side of street culture — an underworld bound by sex, drugs, violence and poverty — the human emotion captured by Boogie is in stark contrast to the industrial, washed out background of NYC neighbourhoods.
The notorious streets of Bushwick, Bedford-Stuyvesant and Queensbridge play as a canvas to the reality of racial tensions, the war on drugs and violence that made up NYC a decade ago.
Boogies first photobook, It’s All Good, hits it’s tenth anniversary this year after being published in 2006 and will be re-issued with more photos and an even deeper insight to street culture.
