The mystery surrounding the deaths two of hip hop’s most enduring and salient luminaries has constantly served as a topic of much conspiracy and hearsay over time. 20 years on, the on going feud between Tupac and Biggie and their subsequent deaths are still some music’s hotly contested conversation starters.

Set to premier this Summer, Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G will go behind the secrecy, with screen newbies Marcc Rose playing Tupac and Wavyy Jonez depicting Biggie. Suss the trailer below which is set to ‘put a different spin on the rappers relationship’.

According to the show’s creators, “There is a very real possibility that the murder of Biggie Smalls is directly related to the murder of Tupac” and will draw heavily from the book Murder Rap: The Untold Story of the Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations 

The show is set to follow the same true-crime anthology tone as binge-favourites like wildly popular The People Vs. OJ so be prepared to leave any sense of skepticism you may have behind and immerse yourself in the story behind a generation defining feud.
