For us stoners, getting caught with a bunch of green is a real pain in the ass. In Australia alone, there’s upwards of 60,000 arrests made per year in relation to cannabis, most of which are consumer arrests.

But every now and then, there’s one huge arrest that puts it all into perspective. This time, it was issued to a 37-year-old man from a village outside Hong Kong.

Upon the discovery of 1,205 cannabis plants (worth over $2 million USD), law enforcement charged the man for housing an indoor farm, which had been in operation for at least six months.

The plants were accompanied by solar lights, nutrient solution and dehumidifiers.

As if that weren’t enough, a 45-year-old tenant of the building was also arrested, as he was under suspicion of assisting in the process.

Talk about throwing your mate under the bus…

Guess which state smokes the most pot in the world (hint: it’s not Amsterdam)
