After days and weeks of speculating the 2019 Listen Out lineup and betting your mates copious pub feeds over artist predictions, the official list is finally here.
Following A$AP Rocky, Brockhampton and Skepta‘s appearances last year, we were convinced that the next year couldn’t get any better.
We stand corrected.
This year’s lineup is lead by Sydney’s own golden child, Flume, who will be returning to his roots in Aus for the first time in about a year. He’ll also be giving the Listen Out crowd the first Aussie debut of his latest mixtape Hi This Is Flume, which he hasn’t yet performed in the country.
Arm in arm with Flume is major music producer, Diplo, who has recently linked up with Tove Lo and Octavian on a few tracks, as well as making his acting debut in Lil Nas X’s Old Town Road music video. We can only hope that he sports the same get-up at Listen Out.
Huge international hip-hop acts are also swinging by our Aussie shores, including ScHoolboy Q – fresh off of CrasH Talk -, the woman who single-handedly bought cow print back in, Doja Cat, #1 sad-boy rapper 6LACK and Grime Prince Slowthai.
Of course there’s heaps of our favourite Aussie acts in the mix, too; Young Franco, Cosmo’s Midnight, Dom Dolla, Miss Blanks, Wafia and more will all be gracing the Listen Out stages as well.
