Arriving in town to bring  Sydney’s gritty inner-west some serious doom and gloom (in the most fun way possible), the Kraken Karnival is set to transform Marrickville’s iconic Vic on the Park into a two day festival of full-blown  darkness.

Kraken Spiced Rum is a drink truly not for the faint at heart – named after the most ‘fearsome of all the sea creatures’, the event is set to mirror a similar level of mystery and terror.

Ready to spice up Sydney this Friday and Saturday night, the event will pay tribute to the historic 1817 battle of the Kraken and the Lighthouse. Kraken inspired food and drinks will be flowing all night long including Espresso Martinis garnished with white Persian fairy floss and Kraken-infused black hotdogs, with caramelised onions and ink dyed black buns.

Punters will able to test their battle abilities with activities like Kraken Grabber and Anchor Hammer into Karnival running throughout the two nights.
