As if you need an excuse to sink beers with your mates? But if you do, we have the most perfect altruistic one and it’s called the karma keg.
It’s a moral test. What do you pay when you don’t have to pay at all? A social experiment in itself, bars around Australia are putting a keg on tap— letting drinkers pay what they want with all proceeds going to charity.
Sure, some people could bleed the keg dry and not pay a cent, but karma and a nasty hangover will accompany it. And we must say the beer tastes better knowing it’s helping others
So around Australia we have teamed up with our favourite venues to line up the karma kegs for #idrinkPink— encouraging people to donate and drink pink.
1. ROCKS BREWING CO.
Pink cupcakes, pink burgers and a karma keg of their famous Conviction Series Pale Ale. It’s your Saturday sorted, your soul cleaned and your liver? Well probably on the off side Sunday morning.
W&W // Saturday the 8th of October // 12pm to late // 160 Bourke Road, Alexandria.
2. WOOLY MAMMOTH
Every Friday in the month of October Brisbane’s Wooly Mammoth are putting on a hell of an event for #idrinkPink. Tapping up a keg of Mammoth Larger, they’ll make your seedy Saturday’s feel ~okay~ because hey it was for charity.
