There has been a massive plot twist in the unsolved murder case of Tupac Shakur, with Surge Knight releasing information that it was himself the murderers were gunning for, not 2Pac.

The Hip Hop producer was driving the BMW that was shot down and tragically killed 2Pac in September 1996. Yet up until now it was thought that the Compton rapper was targeted due to a fight earlier that night, yet Knight is now saying he was the one they were shooting at.

This new information has been released by a signed affidavit that Knight’s attorney released for a new documentary detailing Compton’s rap history. Knight explains that it was the first of many murder attempts he has experience, boiling it down to his ex-wife Sharitha and former Death Row security chief Reggie Wright, Jr.

Is it just a producer wanting to shine the spotlight on him? Or could very well this be the beginning to the end of the unsolved murder case? Who knows.
