Gucci has injected some soulful colour into the usual minimalist fashion world. The sneak peek of Gucci’s 2017 pre-fall line is adorn in glitter jackets, bold striped tracksuits, rainbow knits and mismatching patterns galore.
The shoot is a tribute to Northern Soul features an all-black model cast and is inspired by last year’s Made You Look Exhibition that focused on black masculinity and Dandyism.
Photographed by Glen Luchford, the shoot takes influence from the iconic 60s photographer Malick Sidibé, renowned for his partake in Northern Soul, a 60s movement inspired by black American soul music.
And not to mention it features an iguana because Gucci is the only one that can get away with that shit.
