I remember visiting a museum where you could challenge a robot to a game of air hockey. Obviously, it proves near impossible to win, considering the robotic arm is programmed to own you.

 

Last week, Toyota gave us a look into the future of their company. The Japanese automotive manufacturer appears to be exploring the world of AI, creating a robot that can shoot hoops with no failure rate.

 

 

I mean, the robot never misses, but it takes a damn long time to set this thing up. The combination of tacky heavy-metal and the prolonged, strenuous setup seen in the vid above means we’re still a little way off before these toasters take on Steph Curry.

 

Until then, we’ll have to cop another couple Warriors championships.
