Since taking over our screens in 2011, Bob’s Burger’s has certifiably become one of our favourite animated programs, providing a slew of ever relevant Tina Belcher one-liners and life-appropriate GIFS.

According to 20th Century Fox, a ‘feature film based on the show is in the works’, set for a July 2020 release. The show has received some serious clout over its time on the air, taking out the Emmy for Outstanding Animated Series twice.

The show sure does have cult following, however, bringing an at times niche program to the big screens means diluting the humour to appease a mass audience. Here’s what Loren Bouchard, the show’s creator had to say,

“We know the movie has to scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had, but it also has to work for all the good people who’ve never seen the show.”

We’re stoked and if it’s anything like the show, we’re for sure be satisfied with its movie offering.
