The thing about horror flicks is that you can basically discern the narrative from the title – you’ve got your paranormals, your standard zombie apocalypse, your slashers, and the OTT torture collection.

Last year, Jordan Peele flipped the script on the horror movie, reframing his comedic touch to direct his Academy Award-winning horror, Get Out.

Haven’t seen it yet? What’s wrong with you?

Peele today confirmed his next project is in the works – Us.

Peele is again set to write and direct the film. There have been no signs of a plot reveal but Lupita Nyong’o is in talks to star alongside Elisabeth Moss from The Handmaid’s Tale.

Universal’s dated the film for March 15, 2019.

If it’s anything like Get Out, I’m ready with snacks close by and an bladder empty.

Speaking of thought-provoking art, make sure to get across Childish Gambino’s This Is America – we think it’s the most important track of 2018.
