What: FOMO Festival
When: January 8, 2017
Where: Parramatta Park, Sydney, Australia
The heat did not take away for one second from the contingent of international and local talent that FOMO Festival brought to Parramatta Park. With the day hitting a top of 40 degrees, the crowd managed with double parked drinks and oh-so mouthwatering food truck goodness.
One stage, no clashes – thank God. Our personal favourites, JME, Desiigner, Metro Boomin and Goldlink gave us a glimpse into the diversity and talent of the American rap and hip-hop game which Sydney’s been craving to witness live. Slumberjack and Peking Duck brought the local electronic goods to the weekend, while Emperor of the Sun filled the park with their cosmic sounds and forever eccentric outfits. The set exploded with two smashed guitars and a sea of exhausted punters. Yet everyone’s energy suddenly reinstated itself as the US duo Flosstradamus brought the festival to a rambunctious close with a tear-jerkingly stunning final set.
