Amidst a meteoric rise and an EP set to drop early 2019, we’re calling it now. Nick de la Hoyde’s the one to keep an eye on next.
He’s performed next to Kid Ink and MAX (Max Schneider), and has already shared a spot on the Rolling Loud Festival lineup earlier this year in Miami alongside the likes of Travis Scott, Post Malone and Lil Uzi Vert.

As 2018 draws to a close, Nick has well and truly broken into the scene with his latest single, California.
A mix of hip-hop, R&B, electronic alt, and dance beats, de la Hoyde’s sound isn’t going unnoticed. Topping 9M+ total streams this year, the new single itself has racked up over 230,000 plays on Spotify – and we’re hardly a week out.
Now, the official music video for California is here.
It breathes to life a dreamy visual of Nick’s travels of the Golden State through alien eyes and wonderment; from picturesque skies and beaches to mountain tops and tattoo parlours.
His story unfolds through earnest lyrics, cooing vocals, and ambient production. Raised in a multicultural home by a Syrian mother and British father, California chronicles his journey so far – it takes us on his travels on the West Coast, as well as through his life and into adulthood.
