Turnbull is shaking up the process for citizenship, declaring overnight English tests will be introduced, as well as a test of ‘Australian values’.

 

Turnbull isn’t sure how exactly this test will be assessed, but we do know it’s been put to the public.

 

 

It would be foolish and naive to claim religious tolerance, getting a ‘fair go’ and camaraderie as uniquely Aussie values, no?

 

It then begs question, what are Australian values?

 

 

We’ll start it off with the obvious…

• An appreciation of sausage sangas
• Knowledge of backyard cricket
• Compulsory mullets
• Sausage sangas
• Accepting thongs are a culturally acceptable choice of footwear for most occasions
• Accepting piss ups as the celebratory activity of choice for most all occasions
