I say funeral, you say … strippers? Seems like a weird combination of things that ordinarily are kept pretty separate, but this week the Chinese government is coming down hard on the technique that some rural families use to boost numbers at funerals.

The practice of hiring strippers is not uncommon, but the Ministry of Culture is now requesting that mourners call a special hotline if they see a stripper at a funeral.
The idea behind the strippers is to get as many people as possible to the funeral, which is a sign of respect – but they have to tolerate people literally taking their clothes off the whole time, in front of them.
Could you imagine saying goodbye to a loved one to the tune of Hot For Teacher?
Young Thug’s probably into the concept. He just changed his name to “Sex”.
