Just a few days ago, the music world was left broken after the totally unforeseen death of hip-hop artist Mac Miller. Not only did the passing of Miller leave a tear in the heart of many fans, but also afflicted fellow musicians.

 

Donald Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino has been one of the most recent to pay tribute to Miller, during the Chicago leg of his tour, dedicating a performance of Riot to him.

 

“I’m a very sensitive person…but this Mac Miller shit got me fucked up…he was so nice. He was the sweetest guy, he was so nice. And we were both internet music kids, and a lot of critics were like, ‘this corny-ass white dude, this corny-ass black dude,’ and we used to talk. And this kid, he just loved music.”

 

 

Glover was amongst many to open up and publicly express their affection for Miller and the sadness for his passing.

 

Both Elton John and G-Eazy dedicated songs to Miller at their recent shows:
