Festival season is rapidly approaching, and so far we’ve been blessed with the lineups for Field Day, Listen Out, FOMO among many others. Now we’ve been given the lineup for Laneway Festival 2020. After 2019’s lineup featured the likes of Courtney Barnett, Jorja Smith, Rex Orange County and Denzel Curry, we were promised an even bigger lineup and they’ve surely delivered.
Fresh from dropping her album last week, the name that is on top of the bill is none other than British experimental pop-star Charli XCX, alongside fellow pop-rockers The 1975.
In an Australian exclusive, Earl Sweatshirt will be making his way down under off the back of last year’s critically-acclaimed studio album Some Rap Songs. He’ll be joined by Dreamville artist J.I.D. British soul-pop singer Mahalia also makes the bill, alongside Mexican-American R&B crooner Omar Apollo and UK singer-songwriter Col3trane.
The homegrown talent on the bill is pretty strong, featuring the likes of 16-year-old sensation Ruel, DMA’s, Ocean Alley, Stella Donnelly, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, The Chats, among many others.
