Chance is basically one of the most wholesome artists on the planet at the moment, but even he knows when to step down and acknowledge a misstep.
During his Be Encouraged tour, Chance, a proudly independent artist performed his song No Problem backed by a screen that depicted parodies of major labels. Among them were Sony (changed to “Phony”), Def Jam (“Don’t Join”), and Dr. Dre’s Aftermath (“Can’t Do Math”).
Chance took to Twitter to apologise for the situation. Here’s what he has to say.
I want to formally apologize to Dr Dre, and all of Aftermath for publicly disrespecting their hard work and contributions to music.

I made the mistake of including Imprints which not only dulled my overall point of trying to uplift artist…

Fans of both Chance and Dre have shown some major respect for the apology
You owned up to your mistake without further trying to make excuses for it. That's more than most would do. Respect.
