Some people say millennials don’t know how to expand their financial horizons or manage money properly. Well, they haven’t met the trailblazer currently listing a custom made number plate, emblazoned with the universal phrase ‘LIT’ for $100K.

Richard Swanton, the mastermind behind the business endeavour conjured the idea whilst searching for his own customised plates.

“I bought a new Ducati motorbike and I was looking for a number plate to put on it for a while and it was just at the time that lit was becoming more topical, so I was just running searches on the MyPlates website and it was available. I just went right ahead and clicked on it, that was about a year ago.”

“I did a bit of research into what plates can go for and it really varies wildly. They go from a couple of thousand dollars for a slightly unique plate while some of the more sought after plates with a low number of digits can go for hundreds of thousands of dollars

It’s imagination and creativity like this that will change the world of tomorrow.

Swanton’s business plan is as follows:

“I just thought considering I’m in no hurry to sell, I’d list it for an insane prince and see if there’s anyone out there with too much money who likes to have a joke as much as I do about these things.”
