As you get older every weekend kind of merges into one cliché — we go to the same bar, with the same friends and drink the same gin & tonic. Repetition is the strongest vice, where you can too easily slip into a usual night out routine.

To avoid experiencing a toilet night out in consequence of straying away from the usual, we’ve compiled the top three events happening in Sydney this weekend. We promise they won’t disappoint…

Painting With Light – A Sensory Overload

This underground experience will shit all over your mates garage party with the  ~trippy~ lights he snagged from Bunnings. The Underground Arts Party has a distinct reputation of curating not just a night out, but an experience and this weekend they’re showing Sydney the power of lighting.

With minimal house and techno beats playing from 9pm onwards, the underground venue in Bondi Junction will be transformed to an electric live art show with cool shit like infinity boxes, projection art, light effects and holograms.
