Now, to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the iconic Nike Air Force 1 (which has received its fair share of love this year), Nike, Foot Locker and Melbourne Streetball Madness are teaming up for the ultimate bday bash in Melbourne this weekend, featuring high-octane basketball matches, music, food and more to keep your head in the game.
To honour the hustle and passion of basketball and the Air Force 1, ‘Battle Force‘ is the penultimate test of strength and endurance. The Streetball Madness comp will see 24 teams competing for $25,000 cash, championship rings and most importantly, owning the bragging rights of being the best streetball players in Australia.
Keeping your game on point at the event will be live DJs and exclusive live art installations, food trucks, on-site tattooing and a Foot Locker showroom to satisfy all your sneaker gawking needs. Australian street artist Phibs will be ushering the iconic kick into a new era with exclusive customisations.
