A cafe in Australia’s capital of all things pretentious, has reached peak obnoxious by selling spoonful’s of your favourite childhood treat, Nutella.

The pop-up desert bar/ cafe The Spoonful of Sugar , voiced their justification for the ridiculousness, marketing the “small amount of spread” as fine, gourmet dessert (…more like the snack you’d have after school whilst your mum wasn’t watching?)

The cafe is also offering spoonfuls of ‘Playful PB&J’ and ‘Sinful Salted Caramel’.

For all we know, it could be a total stitch up. Do they know they’re nearly 3 months late for April Fools at this point? Or that you can buy an entire jar of Nutella for just a little more than….$5?

Forget overpriced avo toast, this is why millennials get a bad financial wrap.
