Gucci is more globalised than ever. Not only in their store locations but in Michele’s manifestation that is Menswear Spring ’17.

Gucci Creative Director, Alessandro Michele says of the collection:

“This is my idea of travel; to travel but not leave for anywhere, and dream about somewhere you don’t know.”

With a multiplicity of cultures and countries blended together, it’s somewhere we can never know in the flesh, but vicariously through the label.

Amongst the Gucci logos the masses crave, Michele dispatched tiger patchwork, Donald Duck references, Greek iconography, Ancient Egyptian lettering and blue jeans emblazoned with permanent marker-esque scrawl.
