Live music makes the world go around, this is what you should be at this weekend.

 

1. THE PLOT MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Plot Music Festival returns to Parramatta Park this Saturday, bringing you a contingent of Australian favourites and emerging artists. With the likes of Montaigne, Nicole Millar, Paces and Running Touch among the artists to take to the stage, it is a festival well worth the road trip out west.

2. XL – Nina Kraviz, Stephan Bodzin & Bjarki Powered by V Movement

Housing one of their biggest line ups of the year, Chinese Laundry certainly is a stand out for this weekends gig guide. Headlining the night is Siberian born singer, producer, song writer and DJ, Nina Kraviz, bringing her idiosyncratic electronic beats to Sydney venue. Joining the international act is Stephan Bodzin and Bjarki, with their hypnotic melodies.

3. De La Soul at The Greenwood Hotel

The Grammy Award Winning American group De La Soul will be packing out Greenwood Hotel, thanks to Red Bull Music Academy and PSV. Bringing their legendary funk and soul beats from their new album ‘and the Anonymous Nobody,’.

4. The Lulu Raes at El Topo Basement w/ S.KAPE

Local talent The Lulu Raes & S.KAPE are opening up for the launch ofUp n’ Fridays at The Basement.
The Lulu’s have shared stages with the likes of Sticky Fingers, Dune Rats, DMA’s and The Vines and and are helping out us regular people with their presence for a local Bondi show.
