It’s one of those immortal lines in hip hop – there’s vomit on his sweater already / mom’s spaghetti (you rap the rest) – that went on to spawn a million memes, parodies, and even a whack po-mo pasta painting.

It occupies a transcendent state in pop culture that surely hit its zenith this week after Eminem decided to sell mom’s spaghetti from The Shelter in Detroit.

Fans bought spaghetti, merch, meatballs, and of course his latest drop, Revival.

It’s been a big year for Rabbit, slinging spaghetti, taking on Trump, political commentator Ann Coulter, and releasing his ninth studio album.

It’s also an appropriate way to cap off 2017, as the radical convergence between food, politics, and hip hop, has left us all a little wigged-out and disoriented.

Let’s hope we can keep it all down.
