In light of recent events that have permeated the entertainment and music industry, it’s incredible to see a figure like Drake stand up for the rights of women and voice his concerns in the ongoing fight for equality.

During a stop at his official Sydney after party at Marquee, Drake stopped in the middle of his performance of Know Yourself to call out a guy he spotted groping a girl. Disgusting.

“If you don’t stop touching girls, I’m gonna come out there and f**k you up”

Watch him take the down the creep here.

Big ups to Drake for calling out despicable behaviour like this – we need to reach a point in which every industry figure is okay with speaking up about unfairness. Music should be a safe accepting and most of all, fun place for everyone involved. The paradigm is slowly shifting towards a state of instead of abusing power, using it to speak up for the voiceless.
