Chance The Rapper is a goddamn stand up human being. From donating to charity, to allegedly saving SoundCloud, the man’s resume (aside from producing absolute musical goods) is bursting at the seems with services to society.

Now, he’s lending his talents to the world of film, and is set to appear in an upcoming comedy-horror called Slice.

Check out the trailer below:

The flick is set to follow a man framed for the murders of a series of pizza delivery boys – the trailer doesn’t give too much away but, from what we’ve already inferred, it’ll probably be a mix between the gory goodness of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the slapstick comedy of Home Alone. The 8-bit inspired theme music also adds another layer of irony we are yet to unpack, so stay tuned.

Slated for release next year, the movie is seeing distribution through indie powerhouse A24, responsible for incredible films like Moonlight and Lady Bird, so we’re sure Slice is going to be one hell of a time.

In other Chance related news, watch him spit bars about Bob’s Burgers at the Emmys this year.
